Question: is there a way to clasp or implant dentures so that they will stay in place. My lower dentures have never fit (for 17 years!) I have heard that there is a way to implant them so that they will stay in place.

Yes, dental implants are an effective way to secure your dentures so they don't move when you use them. You may want to consult a prosthodontist, a dentist with three years of training beyond dental school who specializes in the care and maintenance of dentures. Question: I have gingivitis really bad. I have had 4 back teeth already pulled. Most of my teeth are loose. My two front top teeth are becoming very loose and a very large gap between them. The gum has receeded very bad. My gums stay very infected. I have had the deep cleaning several times. Considering having all teeth pulled and getting dentures. Need some advice.

Without a thorough examination it is not possible to give you advice as to whether to keep or have teeth removed. You should seek the care of a dentist or a prosthodontist, a dentist with three years of training beyond dental school who specializes in the care and maintenance of dentures. Question: I would love to hear people who are wearing removable partial dentures for the first time describe how it affects their speech. I need to get an RPD, apparently a Class III, for three teeth missing on the upper left, and I am terrified all that acrylic and metal in my mouth will dramatically affect my speech, and since I rely heavily on speaking well for my job, effectively render me a disabled person, ruining me professionally and financially.

Most people who get removable partial dentures for the first time have no trouble at all with their speech. I would not anticipate that you would have this kind of trouble. You may want to seek the care of a prosthodontist, a dentist with three years of training beyond dental school who specializes in the care and maintenance of dentures. Question: my 92 yr old bedridden mother has a problematic lower partial denture that is ill fitting because some of the natural core base teeth have dissipated. She can not go to the dentist, and needs the strongest adhesive. I have tried various pastes and sea bond wafers. Nothing provides a solid bond. Any ideas? thanks~

Realistically, she might be more comfortable without trying to wear the partial denture at all. If it is so ill-fitting that it won't stay in place she would probably be more comfortable without it. Depending upon your location and the dentist or prosthodontist, you may be able to find a provider to offer care in your home. Question: where can I purchase the rubber inserts that fit in my partial-that fit over the support mounts in the mouth (JAW)

It seems that you may have dental implants beneath your partial denture and you need the "retentive caps" replaced. The dentist or prosthodontist who made the partial denture for you can solve this problem.
