Question: Does fixodent adhesive power expire
Mar 08, 2011 2:19 pm
Hi Kay,
Thank you for contacting Denture Living. Fixodent Denture Adhesive does not have an expiration date since it is considered a medical device. The average shelf life is 3 years (unopened) from the manufactured date when stored at room temperature.
I hope this information helps!

Question: I have a full upper denture which needs replacing. Where can I find information for the cost of a replacement and a good denture type.
Feb 24, 2011 12:31 pm
Denture fees vary widely based on location. The best way to determine fees for service is to visit with your dentist or prosthodontist and discuss the care you may need. You may also contact your state or local dental society to find out if the organization has any resources for the public related to the cost of dental services. You may want to seek the care of a prosthodontist, a dentist with three years of training beyond dental school who specializes in the care and maintenance of dentures. To locate a prosthodontist near you visit www.gotoapro.org.

Question: what can you specifically tell me about Ivoclar? Is it designed for partials what is the benefit of this product?
Feb 23, 2011 3:53 pm
Ivoclar is the name of a dental manufacturer and not the name of a specific product. Some partial denture products are metal-free and are made of nylon. These products are helpful for those who have metal allergies where a metal type partial denture will not work. This material is very durable but cannot be adjusted easily which is often needed for partial dentures after years of use.
