I am 33 years old, and am 2 days into my new teeth. I have a partial on the bottom, and a full denture on the top. I had the last 8 teeth on the top pulled on Monday and the new teeth put in immediately. Boy, are they hard to get used to! The extraction sites under my denture are extremely painful today, even with pain medication. And it is very painful to take out the upper denture to clean it like the dentist said to do. Of course I am still eating soft foods only, and it seems difficult to even attempt "chewing" tiny bites of bread.
I want to hear from other people "younger" than most with dentures. I am nervous about going back to work tomorrow, I sell furniture for a living and talking has already been difficult for me at home!
