be a part of the denture living community

i go in next week for my top impression then the following week go in and have teeth removed and plate put in.. i dont do well with pain. and im afraid that they will look fake and every one that looks at me will know.. will i get over feeling this way? im also afraid that ill became a hermit and not leave the house.. i want to be happy and enjoy life, i have 2 boys that i want to be able to go out and do things with and not be looking around all the time wondering.. please any advice will be taken to heart..  thanks
