I am replying to any who are worried about what they will look like and feel like.  I don't have full dentures (yet) but am thinking about getting them in future.  I did get partials to replace a lower bridge (got infected in January 2011) and several upper teeth, including the two front ones and the bridge that was right next to them.  THEY LOOK LIKE MY REAL SMILE!  I have gotten used to talking with them and eating with them.  When I meet people in person they do not seem to notice, and talking on my phone, the people I talk with can't hear a difference in my speech.

I do not like the fact that food particles get trapped so easily, but am leaning to full dentures to alleviate this problem.  The partials also place a LOT of metal in my mouth that trap food and can be somwhat uncomfortable on my tongue.  However, I am pain free and can live with the partials until I can afford full dentures.  I do not have insurance, so the cost comes out of my pocket.  Hope this helps.  I'm learning a lot from the posts on this website.
