Well, on Saturday when I went for my appt. I was handed a bag containing a full set of dentures. I got very emotional as I had paid for a partial for the bottom. I did not know what to do and my poor daughter hated to see me crying. No one there was able to explain what had happened to my partial. They just wanted to remove all of my remaining teeth. After many hours I decided to do it because by this time after crying so much I knew if I left I may never return and my teeth were paid for. They made my daughter pay the bill for the extractions while I was in the cubicle before doing the work. I looked at the bill after we left and realized that they really over charged my daughter so I had her stop payment on it and faxed copies of all paperwork to my dental discount plan.
My upper teeth were not set in right and my two front teeth are off to the left side. So nothing is lined up and I look stupid. I am trying my best to recover but have totally lost my appetite and must force myself to eat because my blood sugar goes down and I get dizzy. Actually I feel pretty sick overall.
I am on pain medication but when I have to put the bottoms back in after rinsing the pain sends me through the roof.
I hope I can get the bill resolved, a new upper denture, and get used to all the changes.
Suzanne
