An upper denture's arc/pallate provides suction, whereas a lower denture has nothing to create suction.
You often have to learn to control a lower denture with your lips and mouth.
The upper denture will be easier to adapt to--just leave it in as much as possible.
A temporary or "immediate" denture is one that is put in often immediaetly after having your teeth pulled..The gums heal around the plate, but after healing they will shrink --causing the denture to be loose, then you go for the "permanent"
An immediate, or temporary is not really necessary in that there is virtually no difference in it and the "permanent" plate. Of course there are extra fees with and extra plate.
