I have seen Seabond advertised. It's not a paste but some kind of stripes. How does it work, because I don't know if I could handle the paste stuff.

I have read that many people have problems removing the cream, do you? I just got my dentures, and I have been trying to figure out what to buy. I am asking you, since you and your hubby like different products.

I used the tube paste stuff when I first got mine and when I took the teeth out I was gagging. I almost threw up. I haven't tried it since. I use the powder and do fine with it. I was thinking of trying the Seabond, but haven't yet.

I have read other forums and there were a couple people suggested "Cushion Grip" you can order it on line and CVS is suppose to have it. You use pea size amounts and they say it last 4-6 days and thats even taking your dentures out and cleaning them. It's around $7 a tube... I hope this helps!!!

My husband swears by Fixodent Powder and I like Fixodent Original.
I've tried the Seabond and it only holds for like 4 hours for me.

Seabond theoretically is a good idea. It's a adhesive paper that you stick on your dentures. The problem comes in that's it's not as fast as it seems. You have to trim them to fit your denture and then for me, it didn't work that well when I ate.
The best denture adhesive? Each mouth is different. So far I am swearing by Fixodent Food Seal. I've only had dentures for two months and have tried almost everything on the market and this is the best so far.
