OMG - What a difference adhesive makes!!!

Perhaps I should sue my dentist for pain & suffering!!  For four long months I have been in constant discomfort from my partial lower.  Never did my dentist suggest using an adhesive.  I went back for two adjustments AND he did fillings on the three other bottom teeth.  I complained every time about how uncomforable they were.  He just said it takes time to get used to them. They flapped up and down all day long, making my gums sore to the point I would take them out several times a day to get some relief.  I could barely finish my lunch as to run in the bathroom to rinse them off to get the leftover food particles out. As soon as I got home from work I took  them out and hid in my house. I've cut back on my social life because I couldn't keep them in for long. Telephone work and personal presentations are a big part of my job.  My work has suffered in the last four months because I couldn't do much of either.  My boss suggested I use an adhesive as her husband does. When I purchased it I read about this website, logged on and read all your stories.  I couldn't wait to try it.  Well I can honestly say it feels like night & day.  The denture feels SO comfortable.  It actually stays in place and I am now not thinking about my teeth for every minute of my waking hours.  I can't believe this dentist didn't give me proper instructions.  Before my dad passed away he always went to this same dentist and my dad never got used to his teeth and rarely wore them. He no longer enjoyed food.  Now I wonder what kind of aftercare he got also.  Obviously I'm changing dentists but not before he gets a nice long letter from me!!
