i absolutely hate this and i do it everynight.i use a wash cloth dry to scrape this crap off the roof of my mouth and gums

Although some say that the best way to remove adhesive from your mouth is (1) with a dry paper towel, or (2) by hardening it with ice and then picking it off with your fingers, or (3) by drinking a carbonated beverage, I find that the best way is (1) to rinse my mouth with warm water, and (2) suck on any kind of candy with citrus or peppermint (including the kind that is sugar free), and (3) then rinse my mouth again. The candy dissolves the adhesive! I suspect that sucking on a piece of fruit would work too.
