Ok, So yesterday I had a bit of a problem with a bad fitting on my lowers but I went back to my dentist and had em realigned.. In the evening I managed to eat a few soft foods and came to be told by a resident of mine that if I just put the fixodent food adhesive on my lowers, it will help the lower from popping up.I told her I would try it because I had been experiencing that problem and it was really dragging me down mood wise..of course she told me to give it time..I tried it and it made a whole big difference and not once did the lower come up.Tonight I was able to eat a nice hamburger steak and some veggies..It took a while but I got it done and again used the adhesive only on the bottom..I have been reading MANY post that say that they are good for only a few hours.I have no idea what exactly is going on there, but I am thankful I am having no issues..I work with Senior Citizens and they have all been a integeral part of my transition from when I had what teeth I did have taken out to the point of waiting a month and a half before I started my dentures.. I love my residents and they keep asking me daily how its going so far..I just give em my big pretty smile!! till tomorrow, and please feel free to reply!!!

I just got my lowers today and that is exactly the problem that i am having. I have adjusted to the top but now it's a whole new game with the bottom. they feel huge and so loose. Can't eat etc. I put a little fixodent on each of the backs but after a little bit it stopped holding. maybe i didn't put enough, i don't want to use too much. i haven't had them relined, that's next week.
