Hi,

I had all my teeth extracted on 12/30/11. My dentures were placed in my mouth immediately after all the extractions. Yes, I suffered swollen face, used Ice and pain killers. I have a wonderful dentist who helped me thru it. However, sometimes I feel so overwhelmed. My gums are still healing as its only been 4 days.

I leave the dentures in from about 5am, until about 9pm. I had to get them adjusted as I had 2 sores in my mouth. My question is, my dentures are adjusted, not near the sores, but how can I heal them?

I use salt water once in the morning, and then again at night. I also use a prescribed oral rinse. I hate to take them out during the day, as I have to use the adhesive and it sucks cleaning it all out.

And eating??? it sucks big time. I am existing on jello, and soup.

Any advice? thank you Anne
