using the dental toothbrush do you use crest also? have upper denture's since 3/12/12 still trying to get used to them?

Regular toothpaste is not approved for use with dentures because it is considered too harsh/abrasive for the acrylic teeth in most dentures. It is better to use a toothpaste (like Fresh and Brite or Dentucreme) that is especially formulated (and approved by the American Dental Association) for dentures. Alternatively, you could use a dish washing detergent like Joy. Also, as long as there is no soft liner in your denture, it is a good idea to soak your denture in a denture cleaning solution like the ones by Fixodent or Polident or, for more whitening power, Stain Away.
I use denture cleaning solution at night and Joy (or, sometimes, Fresh and Brite) for morning and during the day clean-ups. I know it seems like a lot to do, but it is really worth it (and it becomes a routine before you know it). My dentist says that he has never seen a denture as clean as mine.
