Finally feeling normal

Today it has been 8 weeks since my extractions. Yesterday they added the soft liner to my bottoms and this morning they cleaned and spit polished my remaining two teeth. I can not describe how great I feel and want to thank the hard working folks at Leominster Family Dentist. I also would like to thank the folks on this message board for their encouraging stories and helpful tips. Last night I ate BBQ chicken legs off the bone without the need of any adhesive holding them in place and I am pain free. Oh yeah have I mentioned yet how much I like my new smile?

Hi, I'm on day 2 of full upper and lower and reading your posts you've given me a lot of hope. I know it will get better just have to be patient. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

Thanks for your message. I am 2 weeks into full dentures and am feeling better about it all everyday. It's nice to know that soon I will be where you are now.

I'm Karen, the Fixodent Community Manager. It's great to hear a success story! I remember when you posted last month and could only eat soft foods, and six weeks later you're eating BBQ chicken. Fantastic!
