I have a full upper and am tired of oatmeal, ice cream, mash potatoes. I do drink insure but would like to eat something a little bit more filling. I was very sore until I had my first adjustment yesterday. I feel 100% better since then. I still talk funny and worry about slipping. Does anyone have a good idea for food. I need food

Hi Jeff,
I'm Karen, the Fixodent Community Manager. I know it must be frustrating not being able to chew anything. Has it gotten any better since the beginning of this week? Since you're at week 4, you should be able to chew soft foods, such as previously mentioned scrambled eggs and baked potatoes. If you find you still can't chew even soft foods, be sure to get back in touch with your dentist.
Hang in there, and write back to let us know how you're doing.

I'm Karen, the Fixodent Community Manager. It's good to hear you're feeling better after having had an adjustment, but I know it must be trying with limited food choices. Some food ideas include scrambled eggs, yogurt, applesauce, soft cooked fish, baked potatoes and baked sweet potatoes.
There were some posts on the Adjusting to Dentures board May 22-23 which I think you'll find helpful. Look for the post titled, "Need ideas for food choices." Hang in there! Before you know it, you'll be back to eating your favorite foods.
