Ok I got all 28 of my teeth pulled one week ago. Bleeding was minimual and I went back the next day and my dentist told me that it looked like I was healing up great.I told him that I was having some troubles keeping them in, and he told me to put a bit of adhesive on the upper. The bottom one does not stay in place ever, I am not able to eat with them in yet. When I try to chew anything the bottom one bobbles all over my mouth and I get frustrated and take them out.I am also having some pain on the lower left side on my gums. I keep on hoping that it is gonna get better but at this point I am very discouraged and frustrated with it all.I read all these posts and seems like most people do not have that many issues with them, and I am terribly depressed over all of this.

I'm Karen, the Fixodent Community Manager. I know this is frustrating for you, but try not to let this get you down. You have some challenges to ovecome right now, but in time, I'm sure you'll feel comfortable and confident with your dentures.
A lower denture is more difficult to hold in place than an upper, but the muscles of your mouth will gradually learn to hold it in place. Until then, try chewing half of your food on the back left side of your mouth and the other half on your back right side. This will even out the pressure on your dentures and hopefully make it easier for you to eat. Also, as your gums continue to heal, your dentist will make adjustments to your dentures so they fit better. Since you mentioned pain on the lower left side of your gums, be sure to contact your dentist. It may be time for an adjustment already.
I bet your smile is beautiful! Keep us posted as to how you're doing.
^Karen
