I have had a top denture for 40 years. My mom and sister also had dentures. so starting right away by eating soft foods. It is less than 2 weeks that i had 6 bottom teeth pulled and bottom denture.. and a new top one. I am eating.. mostly soft food yet. chicken, noodles, potatoes. i have eaten cracker and chips.
Take smaller bites. and use your teeth. especially the back ones to chew. It takes some practice and getting used to. The first time I went to eat with them I banged the spoon into my teeth. Don't give up.. eat & practice.. learn to use your toungue to help move the food around. I am looking forward to eating more when my mouth is healed.

Just using Fixodent Denture Adhesive. It keeps my dentures in place and to me, makes it easier to eat. Rose
