In what ways have dentures given you more confidence? Less confidence?

since I got my second set of dentures, which included implants for lowers, My smile changed my upper lip drops lower covering my teeth. I now hate having my picture taken I look much older.  I also have quite a bit of pain

I love my dentures. I have had them for 15 years and can barely remember having my original teeth. I smile more (sometimes so much that my face hurts). I am still careful on what I chomp down on like apples and carrots but I can do and eat anything.  I think the hardest thing to get used to is hot drinks and food. I find I need to let them cool a bit before consuming them. Enjoy your dentures and SMILE

I am a new denture wearer, I have had them now for 2 wks. From the very start even though I was in much pain due to 8 teeth being extracted, I felt prettier. Before my dentures my teeth were in very bad shape and loose to the point where I was afraid to even bite into a sandwich.

I'm adjusting well to my new dentures, I actually went out for breakfast 3 days ago. I ordered accordingly and ate in small bites, never one time did  I feel uncomfortable. Fixodent has made my transisition much easier due to it's ability to keep my dentures in place. Yayyyyy!!!!

I find myself smiling more, looking at people and interacting more with people since transistioning to dentures. I'm ready to face the world again after too many years of covering my mouth when I laughed or tilting my head down to avoid people seeing my missing and bad teeth.

Would I do it over again? ABSOLUTELY. Be patient, read and learn all you can about adjusting and you'll be just be fine. If you have any problems with fit, by all means go back to your dentist they also want you to be happy. This site here at fixodent will probably answer all the questions you can come up with.
