My suggestion to you would be to return to the dentist who is responsible for caring for you and your plate. They have a product that is like a gel material that aligns the plate and makes the fix snug without the gooey mess of adhesives.

What the last poster is talking about, I believe, is called a "soft-reline. Your dentist will charege you 200-300 dollars for this. You can buy a soft-reline kit (do-it-yourself at home ) online for 40-60 dollars for enough materials to do top and bottom denture, I don't have one myself, as of yet, because I don't yet need one, but when I do, that's the way I will go. You coat your denture and put it in your mouth to mold it, so the fit is perfect evey time! People talking about the product in reviews: most of them seem to love them....and they last a year to two years.! Depending on your dentist, he should be able to do the reline soft reline on your second visit, this is part of the process when dentures are issued. After you heal, the relining takes place.. if not, you did not get a good dentist to do the work. Relining can be done several times, and once done properly the dentures will hold good.. with little or no movement, no need for adhesives.. You must keep your dentures clean.. daily.. don't wear them at night. take them off, not only will they last you longer, you will be happier.. and your hygeine better.

Hi, I'm Arlie, and I got a good laugh at your mission for automatove gaskets. That's pretty funny. I'm sorry that you're having such problems and I can only imagine what it's like. Did you speak to the dentist about this problem or doe's he know about it. He should have offered a solution for it. There are denture liners in stores where adhesives are sold :Walmart, KMart and others. They're called wafers. Give that a try. I think the brand is Sea Bond. I'll be thinking of you.
