I have new dentures both upper and lower. My lower denture is giving me fits when I eat. I almost do not want to eat because it will not stay in place and I get all kinds of food underneath which makes it just too hard to eat. Would getting the bottom denture re-lined help at all? I would really appreciate any good suggestions. Thanks. Matilda.

I have the same problem with the bottom dentures. Used Fixodent and after awhile they get loose. awhat should I do?

I know this is a little late, but take the teeth out until your mouth is healed! There are not laws about keeping your teeth in. Good luck.

I had 14 teeth pulled 7 days ago..The only problem I'm having now is learning how to chew with my dentures..I went back for my checkup on Tuesday,he had to sand some of the top part of my dentures down cause it was making my gums sore..I havent had to use anything at all to keep my dentures in...My dentist told me that within a month I should be able to eat anything I want without it hurting..I can't wait...

I've had my new dentures upper and lower for 4 days now,,I'm having problems with chewing and getting the upper dentures out to clean,it hurts so bad to try and get them out..I don't know if it's cause my jaws are swallon that's making me have such a hard time...Is anyone else having this problem?
