Painful Dentures

Posted: December 27, 2009 7:56 pm

I have had dentures for a very long time. I am in the process of getting a new set. When I eat I am in alot of pain. I do not like the adhesives so my dentures move around alot. I have more pain on the right side of my mouth. I can not afford soft lined dentures. Is the pain normal?

Sorry to hear about your discomfort. Have not gotten my dentures yet. Been over 10 years since having all my teeth pulled due to bone loss. Researcing now to see what I'm  getting into. I found this web site with a new  soft denture liner kit. Think I might order the kit, take it with me and have the dentist mold it for me, when my teeth are actually fitted. Can't charge much for that,  if any! And, with this, If it is as  advertised, I can mold it myself. It's worth a try. Good luck to you. Well, this board wont allow me to post a htm link so below is the name of the web page/ company name and slight description. You can Google it............. Let us know how it works for you.
