Help......My Teeth Are Breaking & Falling Out - Need Referal to Free or Very Low Cost Clinic

Hi!

I have always had problems with my teeth no matter what I have done in the since I was a child.  For years I had a Dentist who did Root Canals, Crowns, Fillings, & Deep Cleanings every 3 months.  At that time I had Dental Insurance & a well paying job.......All of the Teeth my previous Dentist worked on have either broken, crowns have come off, and my teeth are falling out of my mouth which is vey ugly and painful.  Does anyone know of a Free or Very Low Cost Dental Clinic that I could contact in order to have them evaluate the few teeth that are left and provide me with Dentures?????  I live in the Los Angeles area.  I have been unemployed for almost 2 years and have developed some health problems. I only receive a very small income.  I have two children, one with special needs.

Thank you in Advance!

Lori

If possible, check out any dental schools in the area first.  I'm in same situation.  I need dental work - most likely dentures, as I've had three teeth fall out, lost a crown & a bridge.  On Disability also, with very limited funds.  I've been checking online for several weeks for Dental Insurance.  Best I could find (& I am happy to find it - best coverage from all the others I could find in Calif) - Check out SafeGuard.  Google it.  I will be getting the Premier Plan next month.  Compared to another dental policy I had, this is way better.  It's only available in CA, (& I believe TX & FL???)

There is NO WAITING PERIOD, NO DEDUCTIBLES, NO ANNUAL MAXIMUM.  It is an Individual DHMO - which means you MUST go to one of the dentists on their list.  IMPORTANT:  CALL the dentist you are considering (even if they are on the 'list') to be sure they still accept the plan & are ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS - BEFORE you buy the policy.

READ THE FINE PRINT (online pdf file) and if you buy the policy - they give you only 10 days (INCLUDING weekends & Holidays) to decline if you don't like, for full refund.

On April 6 2010 I had 17 teeth extracted and upper and lower temp. dentures made for $ 675.00 at Sexton Dental in Florence, South Carolina. Their website is sextondental.net  I am glad I learned of this place otherwise I could of never had afforded it. My looks have changed 100% and now I can finally smile. Good luck and happy smiling.
