Wear my tops only

Hi there top's only.Iknow it's a little ways from when you posted but i can relate how you feel.Im a 53 yo male.I went to get some teeth fixed in "06" but heck they pulled all top and left 7 on bottom.well i have had them relined 3 times and still cant wear them."I THINK THE GUY SHOULD BUILD HOUSES INSTEAD" LOL And as you see the lines and droopyness as i do,try walking around with a colasped spinalcord that the doc was sopose to fix me up better.HUH,HUH.RITE.I step about 6 inches at a time useing a cane so i dont fall,but heck,i can look up to see people like i would like.no i need to watch my steps so my left leg does'nt get hung up on my right one.TELL ME HOW AND WHAT YOU MIGHT THINK OF ME?Thanks and good luck from OLYMPIA WASHINGTON ST.

june 17, 2010 i have full upper (immediate denture, pulled 6 front upper teeth and partial lower dentures( back molars has been gone like 5 yrs ago and decided to have the lower partial together with the immediate upper denture). i hated my lower that i didn't wear them while my front upper gums were swollen. second month, i tried to wear my lower and everytime i bite down, i feel pain in my lower gums. i went back to my dentist and she put a white cream on my lower dentures and asked me to wear them and bit down really hard. then she took it out and check the spot that doesnt have the white cream anymore. she said this means that that part has to be grinded. and so she did. now i can wear my lower denture with fixodent and can talk without pain in my gums. im still in the process of learning how to talk with it and to be honest, i take the lower denture out when i eat. my next goal is to try to eat with my lower denture. ill post it here when im succesful. what bothers me now is on my second month, i feel like gagging (did you experience that?). but im trying to tell myself that it's all in the mind. i'll see my dentist on september 18 (my third month) for reline. i hope the reline will fix the gagging. ill post here to any updates on my situation.

oh i understand how you feel im 42 and i just got my uppers and my partial on the bottoms. so far i dont have any trouble thank god.. i just got them on march 11th still a little swollen , and you yes your right you need to wear them even if it bothers you until the swollen goes away cause it would shrink like you said. i take mine off at night , then put them back, in the moring.. i still eat soft food like applesause and soup.. and im with you about finding a man that would be with you like that. but you know what .. keep your head up .. we are not the only ones with this problem i have know few people that got dentures and they found men or there bf.. good luck and stay in touch to see how you doing..
