d.w. I know you posted this months ago, but I just got my final bottom plate done with implants. Expense definitely, but today for the first time I didn't have to superglue my plate down and could eat normally. If you can swing the cost. I will tell you that I have delta and they pay next to nothing towards them.

Hey d.w., This is a great process. You can go to a site that rhymes with new lube and they show the actual process. It is a titaniaum implant. They put o rings in 4 places on your dentures and they drill the implants into the bone and the bone grows and the implant becomes part of the bone. It holds your denture in great. If I were going to get dentures again or if I were going to get implants on my dentures I would go to where the person Kelly on this site answering questions sends people. www.gotoapro There are prothondonist that take extra schooling to understand dentures. There is a list for each state. I am due to get them in June on my lower and can't wait. I like my dentist he has been paid for the implants and I want him to do it because I trust him but I would go to that website to find a experienced denture dentist that specializes in this. If your bone is in good shape on upper and lower you can get them done and will never need adhesive again.
