Fixodent Complete Original

I've used original fixodent for over 35 years and this original fixodent today in stores has a harmful chemical inside the tube and if swallowed is harmful, a health hazard - The Fixodent Company needs to bring to laboratory and fix it and make it safe again !!

Harmful chemicals in Original fixodent tube

New user.  Hate this product.  It's glue and too hard to remove from the roof of my mouth.  Need to use a spoon handle to scrape it off and also a tooth brush.  Use my finger too.  Wondering if Fixodent powder would be the same.  Will not continue using this product.

I agree with the other people and their comments about the change in the original formula, I have used it for years and ya went and changed it to this horrible stuff that takes forever to "PRY " loose from gums

Poor new "original" product.

After running out of my stock I had to buy new tubes which the package was changed and the formula has been changed because it does not hold like it used to now I have to buy more to re line every time before I eat. 0r I have to spend more for advanced formula.  I will try other products as this company is chasing the buck on the cheap instead of providing quality.

I have used this product for a few years but it is not working now. It’s stays there for awhile then falls out but also when I put the plate in all the glue comes out and makes my mouth feel bad and can’t even wear my bottom ones cause they never stay in

HATE NEW FIXODENT!

This is the only stuff that works for me. BUT YOU CHANGED IT. And it SUCKS! The real original that came in the pink and light blue box/tube, the one pictured above, is GREAT! It had a medium pink paste and it lasted all day and night. I would have to pull it off 24 hours later to clean it. But you changed it. Now it’s in a pink and darker blue box and the denture paste itself is really light pink. It does NOT hold. I’m lucky if it stays for a couple hours. Eating? Doesn’t stay. Comes undone EVERY SINGLE TIME I EAT. I have to clean and reapply about 4 times a day. And it doesn’t give the same cushion feeling. My gums are grinding on my dentures. The actual original one had a bit of cushion. And almost expanded when you got it wet. I wish washer through after I put it in and it almost expanded a bit and get cushy. This new crap? Just stays as goo, no cushion, no seal, no staying. CHANGE IT BACK!!!!!

I don’t know what you did but this stuff is CRAP now. It looks different and it doesn’t hold near as good as it used too. Think I’ll try polident or some other brand now. Very disappointing

What happened??

I purchased it five days ago, and after usage it while this time I found out that this tube is half full. I was so disappointed because it costs too much for me. Only water and air go out from the tube...

you change the product and its horrible. It does nothing and it doesn't last why would you change something that worked well. Maybe you should go back to the real original formula and not the new formula which is useless

The change to hot pink is terrible!

I’ve used this brand a few times, I find it to be too thin for me personally but I usually keep a tube for emergencies. Recently though when I’ve used this brand, my mouth starts to feel like it’s burning. As soon as I put my dentures in with this on them, it burns and it doesn’t stop and It also makes food taste horrible (it’s not mint flavor, I don’t use that kind). Now I’ve used this brand off and on for years and I’ve never had a problem, so I don’t know if something changed in the formula or what but I do know that I now have an entire tube sitting in my cabinet that I can’t use because of the burning. I’m assuming it’s an allergy but like I said, I’ve used it before with no problem and now.. there’s a problem.

FIXODENT IS THE BEST

I have had a couple of tubes of the sample given to me by my dentist over the months. Every one of them had a bubble in the tube. Uou only get about 1/2 of the tube! No way on the website to contact them!

Used Fixodent for years and will continue to do so. 2 comment: 1...Suggestion is can you use same top on larger tube as on small one. It keeps adhesive sealed better and product dry. 2....The last tube I ordered in small tube had huge air bubble and I believe I lost almost half of tube. the lot number on bottom is 93053 .

This is my frist week with a flipper tooth &#129463; in &amp; my dentist said to get the same stuff as denture wears use. The fixodent original does what it says. I will not buy anything but fixodent original. I also found fixodent mouthwash

Best stuff

I have used Fixodent original for several years and worked very well for the most part. I was excited when you advertised&#10;that a new and improved Fixodent Ultra was going to be available soon. What a disappointment . I have bought Ultra two separate times and was very disappointed. Not only does it not hold better than promised but it actually does a worst job than the original. VERY DISSAPPOINTED.

Another thing is that I buy a lot of this goop and it never fails to be at least only 2/3 rds full the rest is air. I wonder with every tube how come so much air is trapped in each tube. I don&#39;t have that happen with toothpaste. So why is this tube only 2/3rds full? I spend a lot of money for this stuff and I get so mad because I&#39;m not betting what I&#39;m pay for which is a full tube of goop.

I think this product needs help

Wanted to compliment on a great basic product. Have a cross bite, so it took a while to find the best product to accommodate the sideways imbalanced forces and have flow. Note to always wipe spout post use so not to get a small hard stone the next day! Keeps mouth very clean and healthy so no infections. Just brush dentures at nightfall with toothbrush and bar soap, rinse, soak in inch of clean water. Done. No irritants to give you sores! MIU.

Best product

Fixodent works great for me. I wear my partials everyday. Fixodent helps to allow me the ability to eat anything. I go to restaurants. I order anything I want. I would not even have my partials dentures if not for my parents and insurance company.

I have to reapply at least 4 times a day. I am so tired of it not working I have given up and only wear them when I am eating and then only if I am going to eat meat. I would try something else but can not find anything. I have recently had them relined so that is not it. - I am a old lady but sure don't like having to look like one.

Does not last

I have consistently used Fixodent Original , I like the tightness that fits my dentures, however, on at least more than five occasions I've had to through the tubes away because of the gel hardening and was unable to squeeze the gel out and I was forced to throw the entire tube away. At times 3/4 or half filled. I am totally fed up with this happening and considering changing to another brand of tooth adhesive !

good product, but problems

I've had my dentures for 3 weeks now and received a small tube of Fixodent from my dentist. Still using it. Didn't have to use as much until the gums shrunk. Got a soft liner and it works better now. My dad said not to try anything but Fixodent because it's the best. It's helping soften the pain of biting and they stay put when talking. I'm a truck driver and can't stop and play with my dentures if they come loose. This works a good 8 hours plus. I love this stuff!!!

Works great!

I love this product: the way it holds my dentures and doesn't move around the back of my throat. However, for my dentures the nozzle is too wide. I, personally, like the smaller nozzle. It gives more control. It keeps me from using too much product which causes overflow.

I would like to know if anybody else has experienced chapped lips due to this product. I use this product for my lower denture, it holds great but I find that I am experiencing chapped lower lip after applying the product. Is this normal for this product ?

I am new to the denture life and received my first tube free from my dentist I have since bought bigger tubes and must say during this transition in my life fixodent has made it easier than I visioned. Now I am in the fitting stage and swelling has gone down and until my appointment fixodent fills the void of having a very loose denture.Thanks FIXODENT

Took away fear of dentures

It is really good for the teeth and it is really good for the purpose it is used.

This product is really great .

Theproduct will not hold my lower dentures in place because the paste disolves with in 15 minutes after applying, Can not seem to find one that will hold

I like that its simple, and affordable. However I find I have to reapply it 2-3 times a day. I drink a lot of coffee and its not hot liquid friendly. It does not hold while eating either. But it is really good for a quick adhesive. Doesnt take long to set and works if all you do is talk all day.

I have used this product for years. the best I have found. Then they come out with Fixodent Plus Gum Care.
Wasted money!!!!! Now go to Fixodent Plus.

I have use Fixodent 2003. I have tried other products I always tend to go back to fixodent. I really like the option of the thin strip I believe I believe you are the only ones that offer that. After using the thicker strips before the thinner strip serve better for coverage you can do up the sides around the back I've had my dentures since 2003 and have never had to have them aligned or anything they always fiit great with Fixodent

I have a lower denture. In 50 years, I had it replaced two times. I have tried every denture adhesive on the market. I found Fixodent and know this is the best one. If it doesn't work for you, you need a reline or a new denture, as there is nothing on the market that is better than Fixodent.

I think that if I had tried a different kind of Fixodent it might have been a little better.

I have a very sensitive gag reflex and every time I tried to use it it made me gag. That really is a testament to how well it seals and holds you plate in place because that is what caused problems for me. I even attempted to use a very small amount of the product but just was not able to use it. This is unfortunate because it really does work.

They fit horribly and the adhesive that you had to put in to hold them in was an awful mess. I could eat better with them out. Well, I went to a dental school for a filling and was told I needed new dentures. When I received them they were better but I didn't like the goo to hold them in place as it was messy and got all over. I was happy when I received the package from BzzAgent and found a tube of Fixodent. My soon to be daughter-in-law(Jodi) was making dinner the following night and I thought it would be a good time to try it out. The next day I tried the Fixodent. The first thing I noticed was it was thicker than the kind I used to use. I decided to not use as much as I usually did hoping it would be enough. The next thing I noticed was I could smile without them falling out. Jodi decided to make chicken taco's and I thought that would be a good start to try the Fixodent out. Dinner went wonderfully! The Fixodent held my dentures in place while I ate and it was wonderful to be able to eat like a real person. No food got caught under my dentures and they didn't slip. Fixodent fixed my problems and now the Tooth Fairy can save some money and I can smile. Thank's to BzzAgent and Fixodent for making my life better.

I have used the fixodent and when comparing it to the polident and I was happier with the hold and the security of being able to wear them up to 12 hours and them staying in place and moving when I talked.

I used the Fixodent on lowers and 12 hours has past and they are still holding. I ate kettle chips and they didn't move. I spread a thin layer of the adhesive cream through out my denture with my fingers then I pressed my dentures with my finger then my teeth for a few minutes. I waited 30 mins to eat or drink. I highly recommend.

It's okay if you eat small bites of food and don't drink or eat anything to hot because it will loosen the Fixodent. This product did not ooze or feel tacky...if you were going to buy Fixodent this is a great adhesive no gooey yucky feeling to your tongue. Food does split into seal..really cool
