Fixodent with scope

I love this one. I just have problems with when I take my dentures out at night, there is always some of fixodent left on my gums. I rinse my mouth out with warm water and it goes away.

Clogging issues! (Scope)

Have used fixodent for several years, it's not what is used to be. Clogging is a daily problem. ..using a toothpick or pin to unclog it, massaging the tube etc, still happening. Very frustrated.

Any moisture around the cap area or tip of the tube could cause the product to harden over time, making the tube difficult to squeeze. Try holding and/or gently squeezing the tube in your hands to soften the product before applying to dentures.For best results, do the following.-Apply to clean, dry dentures.-Always replace the cap after using the product.-Store the product in a clean, dry area. Keep the nozzle and cap dry to avoid clogging.-Use a dry cloth to wipe the nozzle clean. This fixodent came in a tube

This was the first time I bought Fixodent denture Cleanser in a tube and was disappointed because many of the tablets were broken. I don't think this was a good packaging idea.

Does the job

I see 1 and 2 star reviews for this product and there is a common thread-clogging at the nozzle. This can be avoided by not allowing moisture of any kind to contact the applicator tip. Moisture catalyzes the adhesive to solidify well into the tip, clogging it. Be sure to dry your partial/denture completely before applying adhesive. Avoid contact with partial/denture by applying adhesive while hovering just above the surface.The product does a great job of holding for 24 hours or so but dissolving just enough to remove for cleaning easily. The Scope aspect is a nice touch. Every competing product tastes like I imagine diatomaceous earth tastes like.

love this product but....

Been using this product for years, but the constant clogging has become an issue. I've thrown away alot of tubes due to this problem..

Will not squeeze out

I have used this product for years and never had a problem. The last two times I purchased Fixodent Plus it would not come out of the tube. The first time I thought the cap didn't fit tight enough and the cream would dry up at the end. I could poke it with a pin and squeeze the stuck cream out and I could use it once, then it would do the same thing the next day. The second tube that I purchased none of the cream would squeeze out. I cut the tip down to make the hole bigger but that didn't help. I tried soaking the tube in hot water and that didn't help either. I wonder if the ingredients have changed.
